Return and refund policy

To be able to make a return, the product must not have been used and must be in the same condition as you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of merchandise are exempt from return. Perishable products such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be
returned. We also do not accept intimate or sanitary products, hazardous materials, flammable liquids or gases.

Additional non-returnable items:

    • Gift cards

    • Downloadable software products

    • Some health and personal care items

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
*Book with obvious signs of use

CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape or vinyl record that has been opened.

Any product that is not in its original condition, that is damaged or missing parts, is not due to any error on our part.

Any product that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return item is received and checked, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your merchandise for
return. We will also notify you about the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed. We will automatically issue credit to your credit card or payment method within a few days.

Late or missing refund (if applicable)

If you still haven’t received your refund, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, as it may take some time for your refund to be processed.
Then contact your bank. There is generally a processing time before a refund is made.

Promotional merchandise (if applicable)

Only regular priced items can be refunded, unfortunately sale merchandise cannot be refunded.

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email geral.sunoom@gmail.com and send your item to: Rua D. Dinis, 790, Moita, Montemor o Velho, PT-06, 3140-451 Seixo de Gatões, Portugal.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit toward the value of your return. You will receive a gift card in the mail when we receive your returned item.

If the item was not marked as a gift during purchase, or if the person making the purchase sent the item to themselves for delivery
to you personally, we will send a refund to the gift giver, and that person will know that you requested a return.

Freight

To return the product, send the product to: Rua D. Dinis, 790, Moita, Montemor o Velho, PT-06, 3140-451 Seixo de Gatões, Portugal.

You will be responsible for paying the shipping cost to return the item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, return shipping times may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, consider purchasing a shipping service with tracking or shipping insurance. We do not guarantee receipt of the item you return.

Right of Withdrawal (In Accordance with the Portuguese Law Article 10, DL 24/2014, of February 14)

Under Portuguese law, consumers have the right to withdraw from a contract concluded at a distance (e.g., online purchases) or outside of a business establishment without providing any reason, within 14 days from:

  • For goods: The day the consumer, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by the consumer, acquires physical possession of the goods.
  • For services: The day the contract is concluded.

How to Exercise the Right of Withdrawal:

  1. Notifying the seller
    Consumers must notify their decision to withdraw from the contract by providing a clear declaration, which can be sent via:

    • Registered letter to the specified address.

    Consumers may use the withdrawal form template provided by law but are not obliged to do so.

  2. Returning the goods (if applicable)

    • Goods must be returned within 14 days after the consumer communicates their decision to withdraw.
    • Direct costs of returning the goods are the consumer’s responsibility unless otherwise stated.
  3. Refund

    • The seller must refund all payments received, including delivery costs (except additional costs arising from a consumer-selected delivery method that is not the least expensive standard option).
    • Refunds must be issued within 14 days from the date of the withdrawal notification, using the same payment method as the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed.

Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal:

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Customized or made-to-order products.
  • Sealed products that cannot be returned due to health or hygiene reasons if the seal is removed after delivery.
  • Services fully performed with the consumer’s consent during the withdrawal period.
  • Digital content not supplied on a tangible medium (e.g., downloads) after the consumer explicitly consents to the execution.
